📋 Terms of Use
Effective: 1 April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AgentListingX (the "Platform"), whether as a client, agent, or landlord, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident or citizen of Nigeria (or authorised to transact in Nigeria as a diaspora user) to create an account. Corporate entities must provide valid CAC registration.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not attempt to deal off-platform, submit fraudulent property listings, impersonate other users, scrape platform data, or circumvent payment flows. Violations result in immediate account suspension and possible legal action under Nigerian law.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, including AI algorithms, brand marks, and proprietary software, is owned by AgentListingX Limited and protected under Nigerian copyright law. Unauthorised reproduction is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Platform facilitates connections between users but does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, agent representations, or property valuations. AgentListingX is not liable for losses arising from individual user transactions beyond the escrow amount held.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, before the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse.
